Bringing together the Biggest Wedding Trends of 2019; a Styled Shoot.
Eager to bring some light to the big wedding industry trends of 2019, and demonstrate how those trends can be incorporated in events outside of the big day itself, I was ecstatic to get together with a great group of vendors. Organised by Jade Lenny, of Let’s Bee Together, we convened at The Con Club, Altrincham. A beautiful venue, with a luxe but minimal, modern feel, it was the perfect place to bring 2019’s wedding trends together.
With so many fantastic suppliers and creatives with their fingers on the pulse involved, the outcome was sensational, and the day itself was enjoyed by all.
Part styled shoot, part real Bridal Shower, we celebrated the engagement of one of the models, Ellie, as we showcased the latest wedding trends, and the services of our talented team.
A shoot day is always a mark in my calendar that I look forward to; collaborating with different wedding industry professionals and experiencing people’s passion for their craft come to life, and this one was no different. So let’s take a look at the big wedding trends for 2019 that we brought together.
- Fresh Colour Schemes:
Coral is the colour of the moment, it was present throughout, from the cake to the napkins, the invitations and even the drinks!
- Illustrated Invites:
Speaking of the invites, these were personalised to the max. With our invitation designer @paperbowlondon doing an incredible job of illustrating the venue.
- Pampas Grass:
These gorgeous florals made an appearance, not only as part of the arrangement, but also as smaller details, including on the beautiful invites.
- Banquet Tables:
With florals in mind, our florist @braisbybunches produced an amazing low floral display for the long, communal tables.
- Customised Table Settings:
Keeping the personalised theme going from the invites to the event itself, these custom place settings came in the form of drinks coasters. Each with the name of a different guest, they double up as the perfect keepsake.
- All-out Cake:
Boasting four tiers, and an impressive display of sugar flowers - a cake like this would be a show stopper at any 2019 wedding.
- Vellum paper:
Printing the menus on vellum paper gave them texture and authenticity that your average paper stock can’t provide. Paired with the hand written title from the calligrapher, @socalligraphyuk the personal touch was outstanding.
- Wax Seals:
The gorgeous wax seals from @heirloomseals gave the stationary a classic touch that we expect to see more of as the year goes on.
At the closing of the shoot, the bridal shower guests were presented with brilliant goody bags, with gifts from lots of fantastic suppliers. I felt that this was the perfect time to give away examples of my new product range. They, and the other great gifts within, were received with joy by those attending, which put a big smile on my face too.
